Our history

ETURE was founded by Ximo Miralles and Jaime Miralles, two brothers whose experiences at the prestigious Villarreal CF Youth Academy, in U.S. college soccer, and at the professional level in Spain, have shaped the organization into what it is today. Both spent over a decade at Villarreal, developing their technical skills and tactical understanding. Their combined experiences in a top professional academy, NCAA competition, and professional football provided the insight and vision that became the foundation of our company.

In 2023, ETURE became a FIFA-licensed agency, and under the leadership of ETURE partner and former professional player Juanma Barbero, we began expanding into the professional level, representing both clubs and players. At the same time, Joaquín Miralles, father of Ximo and Jaime, former semi-professional goalkeeper for Vinaròs CF, and partner in the company, contributed his expertise to the development of the program’s facilities. Thanks to his guidance, ETURE now boasts three high-quality natural grass fields, three residential buildings in Vinaròs, and an upcoming investment complex that will significantly expand the program’s infrastructure, marking a major step forward in the organization’s growth and professional development.

Building on a deep understanding of NCAA regulations, coaching expectations, and strong relationships with coaches, ETURE launched the ETURE Gap-Year Program, a residential development program in Spain in 2018 that prepares players for college soccer. To date, over 250 American players have participated, with a historical 68% success rate in securing Division I opportunities. This year marks the 8th edition of the program, and we are quickly approaching its 10-year milestone, reflecting nearly a decade of dedicated player development and college placement success.

In 2015, during his third year of college, Jaime and Ximo founded ETURE as a college recruiting agency to help top Spanish players access the NCAA market. Over the years, ETURE has guided numerous players to scholarships and helped them advance their careers. Today, it is undoubtedly the leading college recruiting agency in Spain and Europe.

Ximo Miralles captained Villarreal CF Juvenil A team to a national championship in 2015, playing alongside future La Liga talents like Rodri Hernández, who won the Ballon d’Or in 2024 and maintains a strong friendship with the Miralles twins. After moving to the U.S, Ximo earned a full scholarship to Clemson University, where he played as the starting goalkeeper, leading the Tigers to two ACC finals and an NCAA quarterfinal. Returning to Spain, Ximo competed professionally with AD Alcorcón, CD Numancia, and UD Logroñés in Spain’s second division and Liga One, gaining firsthand knowledge of the professional game that now informs ETURE’s approach.

Jaime Miralles joined the University of Vermont in 2014, contributing significantly to the men’s soccer program. In 2015, he played a pivotal role in UVM’s America East Championship victory, providing an assist in the final and helping the team reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time in eight years. In 2016, Jaime transferred to Oregon State University, continuing his NCAA journey and gaining further insight into the U.S. college system, which became a central inspiration for ETURE. He later retired after two successful seasons at the first professional tier in Spain, playing for Roda and Alzira. Both brothers graduated with a degree in Economics from Clemson and Oregon State universities.

In 2023, ETURE expanded further by establishing its own club, ETURE FC, competing in the Federación de Fútbol de la Comunidad Valenciana (FFCV). In its first season, the club earned promotion to the FFCV Second Division. This evolution strengthened the Gap-Year Program, providing players with a high-performance environment in partnership with Vinaròs CF, a club with over 100 years of history. The mission remains clear: to demonstrate that American talent can be highly competitive, bridging the gap in maturity and experience, and preparing players to meet the standards required for success in NCAA Division I soccer after a 1–3 year development process.

ETURE has played a revolutionary role in integrating academic components into our programs, combining high-level football development with educational excellence. Through partnerships with institutions such as Missouri State University, an official academic provider, ETURE offers the possibility of teaching college-level classes in Spain, allowing our players to advance academically while pursuing athletic development. This integration reflects our strong belief in the combined formula of education and sports, ensuring that players are fully prepared for both their collegiate and professional careers. Over the past years, ETURE has remained committed to becoming the world’s leading college recruiting platform, continuously refining our programs, expanding our network, and providing players with unparalleled exposure and support.

As we look to the future, ETURE is excited about new initiatives, innovative components, and strategic investments that will further strengthen our organization. Plans include the expansion of our facilities, enhancement of our residential programs, and the integration of cutting-edge technology to support player development on and off the field. Ultimately, we aim to establish a U.S.-based academy under the ETURE name, completing the full circle of our mission and providing an elite pathway for players from Spain, the U.S., and around the world. The coming years mark an exciting chapter in ETURE’s journey, reinforcing our position at the forefront of college recruitment, player development, and academic excellence.
