Two brothers, one pathway

Ximo and Jaime Miralles both spent over a decade at the Villarreal CF youth academy, developing their technical skills and tactical understanding inside one of Spain's most respected development structures.

That is where the standard came from. Everything ETURE later asked of a training week — the intensity, the detail, the way a session is run — was learned here first.

Jaime Miralles crossed the Atlantic to join the University of Vermont, contributing to the men's soccer programme from his first season and discovering the U.S. college system from the inside.

Ximo Miralles captained Villarreal CF Juvenil A to a national championship, playing alongside future LaLiga talents such as Rodri Hernández — Ballon d'Or winner in 2024, and still a close friend of the Miralles brothers.

Jaime played a pivotal role in Vermont's America East Championship victory, providing an assist in the final and helping the team reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time in eight years.

In his third year of college, Jaime and Ximo founded ETURE as a college recruiting agency, to help top Spanish players access the NCAA market. The insight was simple and nobody in Spain had it: they had both just been through the process themselves.

Over the years ETURE has guided hundreds of players to scholarships. Today it is the leading college recruiting agency in Spain and Europe.

Jaime transferred to Oregon State University, continuing his NCAA journey and gaining further insight into the U.S. college system — the central inspiration for ETURE. He retired after two seasons in Spain's first professional tier, with Roda and Alzira.

Ximo earned a full scholarship to Clemson University, where he played as starting goalkeeper, leading the Tigers to two ACC finals and an NCAA quarterfinal. He returned to Spain to compete professionally with AD Alcorcón, CD Numancia and UD Logroñés.

Both brothers graduated with degrees in Economics, from Oregon State and Clemson.

Building on a deep understanding of NCAA regulations, coaching expectations and strong relationships with coaches, ETURE launched a residential development programme in Spain that prepares players for college soccer.

292 players have taken part, with a historical 68% success rate in securing Division I opportunities. This year marks the 8th edition — and the ten-year milestone is now in sight.

Rather than sending players to the United States to be seen, ETURE brought the college coaches to Spain. The Showcase has run every year since, and now draws dozens of U.S. programmes to Valencia in a single week.

ETURE became a FIFA-licensed agency and, under the leadership of partner and former professional player Juanma Barbero, began expanding into the professional level, representing both clubs and players.

At the same time Joaquín Miralles — father of Ximo and Jaime, former semi-professional goalkeeper for Vinaròs CF, and a partner in the company — led the development of the facilities. ETURE now has three natural grass fields and three residential buildings in Vinaròs, with an investment complex to come.

ETURE established its own club, competing in the Federación de Fútbol de la Comunidad Valenciana, in partnership with Vinaròs CF — a club with over 100 years of history.

The mission is stated plainly: to show that American talent can be competitive here, closing the gap in maturity and experience, and preparing players for NCAA Division I after a one-to-three-year development process.

In its first season, ETURE FC earned promotion to the FFCV Second Division — a competitive environment for gap-year players that no training-only programme can reproduce.

Academic partnerships turn a season in Spain into a year that also counts: study that keeps a player on track for graduation, taught alongside the football rather than squeezed around it.

It reflects what the company has believed since 2015: education and football are one formula, not two.
