THE GAP YEAR CONCEPT
The recruiting process is a matter of timing. Coming to ETURE for a year or more of accelerated soccer development after your high school graduation will help you to increase your value as a prospect. The maturity, the elite training under advanced Spanish methodology, the competition experience under a promotion and relegation system, and the physical development will be key factors to earn the attention of top coaches and increase your value in the recruiting market.
As international recruitment grows every year and coaches look for more experienced players overseas, competing abroad under a 10 months season, fighting for three point every weekend, and completing an official season in Spain, makes the difference in the maturity of any player and becomes key in the recruiting process of any ambitious young footballer looking to play at the highest NCAA level.
Additionally, taking a gap year also has its benefits related to eligibility matters. The year you spend in Spain will not count against your eligibility if you just graduated from high school. This will expand your future opportunities and give you a better chance to make better decisions.

Take a GAP YEAR free of classes and postpone your university enrollment.
Participants have the flexibility to either not enroll in any
institution or attend other schools. As part of this program, players will take a
Non-Credit Spanish course, which qualifies them for the VISA, this is
included in the total cost..

SPANISH PROGRAM
Enroll in Spanish 101 (FALL) and Spanish 102 (SPRING).
Enhance your global communication skills with a foundational Spanish course, ideal for student-athletes looking to connect with diverse communities and cultures. This will allow the player to earn university credit for the Spanish Classes coursed during the year.
6 CREDITS
GLOBAL SPORTS CERTIFICATE
The Global Sports undergraduate Certificate will prepare the students to become leaders in the global sports industry.
The program goes beyond traditional education by fostering personal growth, leadership development and a deep understanding of the power of sports.
12 CREDITS
GSC + SPANISH PROGRAM
This is the possibility to combine both the Spanish program and the GSC, which will allow students to leave ETURE with 18 transferable credits.
