Andrei Apostiu Makes History with Life University’s First SSAC Regular Season Title

Life University forward Andrei Apostiu played a decisive role in the Running Eagles’ first-ever SSAC Regular Season Championship, scoring the lone goal in a 1–0 victory over Dalton State on Sunday afternoon.

After several near misses early in the match, Apostiu broke the deadlock in the 43rd minute, finishing a through ball from Álvaro Hidalgo with precision to give Life U the lead before halftime. The goal proved enough as the Eagles’ defense held strong to secure both the win and the title.

Head Coach Alex Pama praised his team’s consistency and resilience throughout the campaign, which ended with an 8–1 conference record. Apostiu’s performance underlined his growing impact at Life University and his contribution to a historic season in the program’s history.
