Barbero seals NEC Championship for FDU

Jaime Barbero lifted the FDU Knights to glory in the conference championship, netting the overtime winner that secured the title. His clutch header ended the match 1–0, locking in the program’s tenth NEC crown and sending the Knights back to the NCAA Tournament.

The decisive goal also marked Barbero’s sixth of the year, a career high for the standout forward. His timely heroics once again proved pivotal as FDU claimed another historic milestone. Eture Sports gap-year graduates Harrison Hew and Yugo Yamamoto-Hodges also played key roles throughout the season, contributing to the Knights’ depth and helping power the squad to its NEC championship success.
