Bruno Medina, a defender for the University of Tulsa, has been named the American Conference Men’s Soccer Freshman of the Week.
The honor comes after Bruno helped the Golden Hurricane secure the 2026 American Conference regular-season title. Tulsa beat Memphis 2-0 to clinch it, the second American regular-season crown in program history.
Bruno is from Madrid, Spain, and has become a key part of the Tulsa back line in his first NCAA Division I season. He has made 13 appearances and played 1,028 minutes.
He has a conference title and a conference award, and he’s still a freshman.
