Eture player Jesús de Vicente signs professionally in the USL Championship with Oakland Roots, marking the next step in his career.

A left back from Valencia, Spain, his path to the professional level has not been linear. He has moved through multiple programs, environments, and levels of competition that shaped his development along the way. From attending the Eture Showcase of 2020, Jesús embarked on an unforgettable path.

His college career began in West Virginia, continued at Iowa Western (JUCO), then to Illinois in Chicago, and ultimately reached the NCAA Division I level at the University of Virginia.

Throughout each stage, Jesús faced both positive moments and challenges that required adaptability and persistence. He consistently showed resilience and a commitment to competing at the highest level available to him. Jesús embodies our ethos here at Eture: Made in Adversity.

Now, he begins his professional chapter with Oakland Roots in the USL Championship, proud of the journey and the work behind it.
