The freshman midfielder found the back of the net in the 66th minute against Marist University, marking a key milestone in his NCAA career. Despite Fordham’s 4-2 loss, Di Sessa’s goal sparked a second-half comeback that nearly brought the Rams level at Moglia Stadium in the Bronx.
The New Jersey native showcased his attacking instincts and composure under pressure, converting a pass from teammate Jack Sias to ignite Fordham’s rally. Just over a minute later, Andre Insalaco added another for the Rams, cutting the deficit to one before Marist sealed the match late.
