The Sacred Heart University men’s soccer team has secured the No. 1 seed in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), powered by a strong Eture Sports contingent — Carlos Gonzalez Palau, Daniel Losfablos, Axier Zeberio, Ivan Marques, Nacho Rullan, and gap-year graduate Rafa Matta.
The Pioneers clinched the regular-season title with one game to spare after a key win over Rider University, where Gonzalez scored to seal the top spot ahead of their finale against Fairfield.
Losfablos and Palau were both named to the All-MAAC First Team for their outstanding performances this season, while fellow Eture players have been key contributors throughout the campaign, helping establish one of the conference’s top postseason contenders.
With the No. 1 seed secured, Sacred Heart now turns its focus to the MAAC Tournament, looking to carry its impressive form into postseason play. The group’s success highlights Eture Sports’ influence across NCAA Division I soccer, as it progresses into postseason play.
