Eture Sports player Hugo Bacharach had a strong debut season with his new club, contributing to Rhode Island FC’s success during the 2025 USL Championship season. Playing as a central defender, Hugo Bacharach appeared in 17 games with 15 starts, totaling over 1,300 minutes and helping Rhode Island FC finish 7th in the Eastern Conference, earning a spot in the USL Championship Playoffs.
The 24 year-old Bacharach contributed not only defensively but also offensively, scoring one goal and completing 17 dribbles over the course of the campaign. His defensive stats highlight his consistency and reliability at the back, winning 27 tackles, intercepting 22 times, and notching 52 clearances.
Formerly of Farleigh Dickinson and Indiana University, Bacharach’s performances earned him recognition at the league-wide level, being named to a USL Championship Team of the Week in early September. His blend of physicality, positional awareness, and distribution from the back was instrumental in Rhode Island FC’s push into the postseason.
With another solid year under his belt, Bacharach looks poised to continue being a defensive presence in seasons to come.
