TOURS: St. Louis CITY SC MLS Next comes to Valencia

In the wake of Eture’s massive showcase success that brought over 70 NCAA coaches to Spain, we continue expanding opportunities for American players — including welcoming the St. Louis CITY SC MLS NEXT to Valencia for a competitive and cultural tour.

Competing Against Spanish Academies

One of the tour’s highlights has been the opportunity to compete against top Spanish youth systems. The St. Louis CITY

SC MLS NEXT squad has played friendlies against the Villarreal CF academy, as well as academy sides of Levante UD and CD Castellón.

Each match has offered a valuable learning experience. The tempo has been sharp, the technical level high, and the tactical detail demanding. Part of the Eture Tour experience has been gaining exposure to a different football culture and style of play, and competing within that context.

Experiencing Spain’s Football Culture

Beyond competition, the team has visited some of Spain’s most iconic venues. A tour of Camp Nou, home of FC Barcelona, provided an inspiring look at the highest level of the game. In Valencia, the group also explored Mestalla Stadium and Estadi Ciutat de València.

Off the pitch, the players visit the impressive City of Arts and Sciences and travel to the coastal town of Peñíscola, adding cultural experiences and team bonding to competition.
